Varland Plating operates an internal business application that integrates with QuickBooks Online for accounting, purchasing, inventory, reporting, and related internal business purposes.

This application is intended solely for use by authorized Varland Plating employees and is not offered to customers, vendors, consumers, or the general public.

Information We Access

Through the QuickBooks Online API, the application may access business information stored in Varland Plating's QuickBooks Online account, including information such as:

  • Customers and vendors

  • Invoices, bills, payments, and purchase transactions

  • Accounts and accounting records

  • Products, services, and related financial information

  • Other QuickBooks data necessary to support authorized internal business processes

The application may also store identifiers or other information necessary to associate records in our internal systems with corresponding QuickBooks records.

How Information Is Used

Information accessed through QuickBooks Online is used only for legitimate internal business purposes, including:

  • Accounting and financial processing

  • Purchasing and accounts payable workflows

  • Inventory and material management

  • Internal reporting and reconciliation

  • Reducing duplicate data entry between internal systems and QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information Sharing

Information accessed through this integration is not shared with third parties except when necessary to operate our business systems, comply with legal obligations, protect our systems, or provide services through authorized providers such as Intuit.

Data Security

Access to the application is restricted to authorized Varland Plating personnel.

The application and its associated systems use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect business and financial information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Authentication credentials and QuickBooks authorization tokens are restricted to authorized systems and personnel.

Data Retention

Information obtained through QuickBooks Online may be retained within Varland Plating's internal systems for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, operational, legal, audit, or recordkeeping purposes.

QuickBooks authorization credentials may be revoked when the integration is no longer required.

Internal-Use Application

This integration is developed and maintained for Varland Plating's own business operations. It is not a commercial software product and is not available for use by unrelated organizations or members of the public.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to the application, our internal processes, or applicable requirements.
